It never ceases to amaze me how authoritarians try to make people think that their naked grab for power is somehow in our best interests. They love to talk about freedom and how they want to defend it, unless of course, you want to get married to someone of the same sex, or you question out loud the wisdom of going to war, or you dare to suggest that birth control is a good thing for the young steeping in their own natural hormones to know about, or you want to in fact promote your own best interests when they are not the same as their best interests.
