General Artist's Statement:

My current work is pottery characterized by a strongly sculptural, figurative presence. My most recent pots explore ideas relevant to being in and of a male body and the good and bad that such a state is subject to, especially the procreative and recreational aspects of sexuality and their ramifications. The ewer, therefore, stands prominently as a vehicle for projecting meanings in my present body of work.
